Several years later, through a shocking incident, the team gather again and make their debut.

My Thoughts:

Totally good. The drama is better than it's predeccessor, Monstar. With more emotion and comedy and musical, they go deeper into the industry. Totally worth watching. The collaboration is amazing and the conflict is stupidly weird and full of misunderstandings than a solid problem. But overall a great drama. Am watching. Got drawn to it through a musicvideo of it's OST and went and watch and totally love it.

Loving where the drama is heading but hope it's moving in the direction I'm anticipating. The title was not so captivating but the story make up the title and fully centralized on the concept of Perseverance.

There are also a lot of interesting cameos in here by famous idols. Such as ZE;A's Park Hyungsik and B1A4's Baro.

Just finished watching it and as I hoped, the drama ended in the direction I'm anticipating. Love every single GOOD moment of it.... Anticipating another great one like it from Mnet. A comedic, heartwarming, musical and loving drama.

Blood (Korean Drama)

Genre: Medical, Vampire, Romance
Episodes: 20

Main Cast:
Ahn Jae-Hyeon as Park Ji Sang/ Jason
Ku Hye-Sun as Yoo Ri Ta/ Yoo Chae Eun
Ji Jin-Hee as Lee Jae Wook

Synopsis:

Park Ji Sang is the son of a vampire, who becomes inherited with the same abilities and desire for blood. Though he was initially terrified of his identity as a teenager, Ji Sang grows up embracing that side of him and becomes a surgeon specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery in the best cancer research hospital in the country. But he grew up being cold and unfeeling to mask his soft heart and inner pain and yearns for closeness with people. He believes very strongly in the sanctity of human life, and suppresses his thirst for blood to treat terminally ill patients and save lives. His hunger and crave for blood is suppressed with a special pill he takes before he goes in for an operation, otherwise, he would quickly transform when he encounters blood.

Among his colleagues is Yoo Ri-ta, a hotshot physician who entered medical school at the age of 17 and is also the niece of the chaebol group chairman who owns the hospital.

Ri-ta is highly capable but snooty and prideful, yet Ji-sang finds himself falling for her. He also gets drawn into a conflict between good and evil as he encounters Lee Jae-wook, a two-faced hospital chief who gains everyone's trust with his gentle demeanor, but inwardly harbors a dangerous ambition for power and a talent for cruelty.

My Thoughts:

This drama was criticized a lot by viewers mostly towards Ku Hye Sun's acting but I believe her acting was fine. It did not dull the plot at all.

One of the newest dramas currently, I did not want to watch it at first because I thought it was boring until I "accidentally" watched the first episode and I was hooked. I was intrigued by the concept that a vampire would be a doctor and a specialist in his field by using his vampire abilities to his advantage. Of course, I liked the concept of fate in a romance story.

Some reviews say otherwise by I believe we should not judge a book by it's cover as I had because I almost missed the chance to watch a great drama. A thrilling drama at it's best. Mostly because I love fantasy elements in a drama. If you watched Gu Family Book, you will see some connection between the lead males of the two dramas.

Anyways, hope you will give this drama a shot. One episode is enough to get a feel of the story.

Soon-bong dies happy, able leave with his heart at peace, for his children have rediscovered what it is to love and what it is to be a family.

Thoughts:

This drama was a hit and I had to finish it first to give my thoughts on it. If you watch it from A to Z, you will surely get emotionally attached to the characters. (I did, and it's takes great work for a drama to make me cry) It was a big rollercoaster ride watching this drama. I feel fluffy when I see romance blooming. I laugh when they're comedic especially one of the couples at the beginning of the blooming of the romance. This was far much better than Ojakgyo Family. I actually watch a 53 episode drama without feeling bored much. KBS never fail to impress me with their family dramas. Even the writer of this drama was awarded Best Writer. Splendid, Emotional, Comedic, Human, it gives the viewers some reflection on their lives. The characters are also relatable to normal people.

Watch it and I assure you, your eyes will be stuck on the screen. Have fun watching! Hope the fire of this drama have not lost its heat yet.
