Synopsis:

Yoo Shi-jin is the captain of the special forces. He catches a motorcycle thief with Sergeant Major Seo Dae-young. The thief is injured during his capture and is sent to the hospital. Dae-young realises his cellphone was stolen by the thief and goes to the hospital to retrieve his cellphone.

In the emergency room, Si-jin meets Dr. Kang Mo-yeon for the first time. He falls in love with her immediately. Mo-yeon mistakenly assumes Si-jin is part of thief's criminal gang. He proves to her that he is a soldier with the help of army doctor Yoon Myeong-joo.

Si-jin and Mo-yeon begin to date, but due to their jobs, their dates don't go well. Si-jin takes an order to lead his soldiers on a peacekeeping mission to the fictional country of Urk. Meanwhile, Mo-yeon becomes upset that she fails to become a professor due to a colleague's privileged background. When Si-jin and Mo-yeon meet again, they talk about their views on life and realise how different they are. Si-jin, as a soldier, kills to protect lives and Mo-yeon, as a doctor, tries to save all lives. They say their goodbyes.

Eight months later, Mo-yeon rebuffs the sexual advances of hospital chairman Han Suk-won and as a result is assigned to lead a medical team in Urk. There, Si-jin and Mo-yeon meet again and fall in love all over again.

My Thoughts:

I was late to the fever over this drama. I was well aware of the fever but was never compelled to watch it until one day I watch it. And it ended into a marathon into the most recent episodes. It was a fever for many reasons that's for sure. I for one think it was because this is Song Joong Ki's comeback drama so the fans went crazy over it.

The story itself was intriguing. The lead male character was mysterious and the other trying to gain attention for her abilities. These two lives intertwine; one a soldier and another a doctor. It was a pairing which is hard to think of as both jobs require long times away for the job. Their dates totally reflect that. This became a clash and it's interesting how they address this problem instead of the cliche, 'I will totally wait for you', they totally try to settle their differences.

On with that, the love story in this drama itself is cute and lovely. The struggles both main couples experience becomes the main point of the story. How they tried to make it work despite everything. I liked it a lot.

On a closing note, people are talking about this drama so if you haven't watch it yet, get on the fever train and start watching the first episode because the editing is superbly done and you can feel the suspense easily and the cliffhangers are just OMG.
