Genre: Romance, Comedy, Drama
Episodes: 16

Main Cast:
Park Bo-Young as Na Bong Sun
Cho Jung-Seok as Kang Sun Woo
Kim Seul-Gi as Shin Soon Ae
Im Ju-Hwan as Choi Sung Jae

Synopsis:

Na Bong-sun has an extremely timid personality and low self-esteem, doesn't have any close friends, and is constantly getting reprimanded at her job as an assistant chef at Sun Restaurant. She also occasionally sees ghosts, thanks to a shaman grandmother. One day, Bong-sun gets possessed by a lustful virgin ghost named Shin Soon-ae. To make up for the lack of romance in her short life and believing that only by losing her virginity will she be able to "resolve her grudge" and move on to the afterlife, Soon-ae is determined to seduce as many men as she can by possessing various women, and she finds the perfect vessel in Bong-sun.

Bong-sun's boss is arrogant star chef Kang Sun-woo, whom she secretly has a crush on. Sun-woo hasn't dated anyone since getting his heart broken by his college friend Lee So-hyung, who's now a TV producer. But when Bong-sun seemingly gets rid of her shyness and suddenly changes into a confident, dynamic woman, she finally catches his eye. Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding Soon-ae's death involves Sun-woo's brother-in-law, kindly police officer Choi Sung-jae who may not be what he seems.

My Thoughts:

Again, kinda late for me to post this but all for a good reason. As I was hooked on this drama a lot. Damn, it was comedic and fun. The fantasy implementation was just nice. And I think I found another great drama writer because this is an awesome story.

Totally love the character development. It was an awesome journey watching the characters grew much deeper, braver, opened and stronger. The flow was nice and the slice of comedy in almost every scene was just perfect.

The main actress was super great at acting as different people. She was able to act the ghost's character flawlessly that you can't see the difference between the ghost and her. But, absolutely love the romance here. Under a presumed grudge, you get a lot of action here. Which makes it very comedic at times. So go on and watch if you ever found the time.

Warm And Cozy (Korean Drama)

Genre: Romance, Comedy
Episodes: 16

Main Cast:
Kang So-Ra as Lee Jung Joo
Yoo Yeon-Seok as Baek Gun Woo

Synopsis:

In 2005, Jung-Joo flies to Jeju Island while holding a picture of her father and a woman. Jung-Joo did research on the woman in the picture and became convinced the woman is her mother and her son Gun-Woo is her twin brother (as they have the same birthday). Gun-Woo also has an older brother Jung-Geun (Lee Sung-Jae) and older sister Hee-Ra (Ok Ji-Young), but the siblings have different fathers.

On Jeju Island, a birthday party is held for Gun-Woo. There, Jung-Joo tells Gun-Woo that they are twins, but they later overhear Gun-Woo's mother telling her daughter that she doesn't know the man in the picture.

In 2015, Jung-Joo now works for an undergarment company. Her position at the company is on shaky grounds. She is set to buy an apartment when she receives a video message from her younger brother telling her that he is about to buy a house on Jeju Island to turn into a cafe. Jung-Joo freaks out and rushes to the airport. She wants to stop her younger brother. At the airport, Jung-Joo runs across Gun-Woo. He is also going to Jeju Island.

Gun-Woo runs the restaurant "Warm and Cozy” on Jeju Island. He opened up the restaurant for a woman he likes, but he now wants to sell the restaurant. Gun-Woo learns that Jung-Joo's younger brother wants to open up a cafe there. Gun-Woo offers to sell his restaurant to her younger brother, but Jung-Joo declines.

While looking for her younger brother on Jeju Island, she sees her boyfriend on a honeymoon and receives a phone call from her boss informing her that she is fired. Jung-Joo becomes devastated. Gun-Woo then appears and takes her to his restaurant "Warm and Cozy.”

My Thoughts:

It's kinda late for me to post this drama but I had to watch quite a lot of it's episodes to get a feel of it. And all I can say is this drama is being pretty overlooked. It has a great plot and story. As the name says, you get warm and cozy watching it. Really comfortable. It goes at a pleasant speed.

Heart flutters all over. A misunderstanding that cause great concern which turns into love. It is a splendid ride watching the love story unfolding. From the first meet to numerous encounters and then living in the same house. Great chemistry between the characters. And of course there must be a character you just had to hate so much. But it gives that much more pleasure when the character gets slapped metaphorically.

Great implementation of comedy. And damn the soundtrack makes it that much more funnier for the comedy scenes. Cute and loving. Heartwarming love. A good recommendation from me. It may prove to be a slow plot for some. But if you are patient, the tree will bear fruit. TRY IT!!!!!

Who Are You: School 2015 (Korean Drama)

Genre: Teen Drama, School, Mystery
Episodes: 16

Main Cast:
Kim So-Hyun as Lee Eun Bi/Go Eun Byul
Nam Ju-Hyuck as Han Yi An
Yook Sung Jae as Gong Tae Kwang

Synopsis:
Go Eun-byul and Lee Eun-bi are identical twins separated at birth. Eun-bi lives at House of Love, an orphanage in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, where the younger residents look up to her as a mother figure. However, she hides the fact that she is bullied at school by a gang of mean girls led by Kang So-young, while teachers turn a blind eye.

On the other hand, Go Eun-byul is the most popular girl at Segang High School, the most prestigious private high school in Seoul's Gangnam District. Eun-byul's best friends are Cha Song-joo and Lee Shi-jin, and she shares a mutual attraction with Han Yi An, the school's star swimmer. They have been friends since they were 8.

Eun-bi and Eun-byul look exactly alike, but only Eun-byul is aware of the other's existence. Unlike the cheerful Eun-bi, Eun-byul is prickly and secretive.

One day, on a school field trip to Tongyeong, Eun-byul mysteriously disappears. At the same time, Eun-bi is unjustly expelled from her school and jumps off a bridge in a suicide attempt. Ten days later, the injured and amnesiac Eun-bi is mistaken for her twin Eun-byul, and the latter's adoptive mother takes her home to Seoul, where she starts living as Eun-byul.

Secrets get revealed later on when Eun Bi realizes she isn't Eun Byul as she soon gets her memories back, but it is then discovered a body was found at the site of Eun Bi's 'suicide'. So she starts living as Eun Byul as Eun Bi is now 'dead'. Soon, Kang So-Young joins the school and finds out Eun Bi is imposing as Eun Byul and tries to make her life miserable again, but Eun Bi has changed and is now a different person from before.

My Thoughts:

I came into this drama's world prepared for a fun 18 year old life drama but I got what I did not expect. A case of switched fates. A dive into the hidden troubles of teenagers. A very mysterious mystery. First episode was a bit deep. Second episode gave a lighter tone.

It is so fun and exciting to watch this drama. I will try to keep spoilers as general as possible. Revelations keep coming in and out. Secrets revealed to people who should not have known. Love, heartbreak..... The one wish viewers wished for fulfilled. Explosions of emotions. The past is uncovered slowly for a person who should not be the one to face it. Leaning and dependence. A cliche bad female character we all want to hit and kill. Cliches that are beyond cliches. Now, it has ended. The struggles of being an 18 year old are tough but it will all work out in the end. With the drama's message(in my opinion), it's okay if you're hurt because you're an 18 year old. And I think for me that feeling has arrived without being 18 year old yet. And in the end, a ship has sunk and another ship set sail. *sob *sob Can't believe it's ended.  Until the end, super DUPER Good.

The actors and actresses did a great job so far portraying the feelings of being an 18 year old. I get fresh feelings like spring from them. And I absolutely love it. On episodes 1-4, the fire is lit. Episodes 5-6, the fireworks began. Episodes 7-8, an splendid spread of colors. An amazing spectacle. The writer did a good job in balancing the good parts and bad parts(which I usually mute due to it's annoyingness, There's subtitles. XD). Once you feel angry at the bad parts, immediately the good parts come to cool the anger. A well-planned rollercoaster ride.

TOTAL RECOMMEND to watch. Seriously watch it. Cliche and dejavu are a given here but they make it feel different. They give a splendid twist to the word. The plot is amazing eventhough I still dislike switched fates with identical twins. But still, the story ROCKS. A drama that truly excites me to wait for it is enjoyable as the age setting is close to mine being 16. Which makes it more relatable in a sense. Again, it ROCKS!! XDXD

Le Si finds herself drawn to Xiao Lu's warm temperament, but will their love last once she discovers the truth of his identity?

My Thoughts:

It was a well-planned drama. Has an interesting concept and I love the soundtracks a lot. It was a cute drama with not that much angst. It was more of emotional conflict than physical conflict. No kidnapping or hits. The characters are the focus. Their expressions, their words, their actions. You can't escape cliches so there are predicted cliches in here. Overall, a great drama. Great to watch.
