Main Cast:
Jane Ramida as Peach
Puimek Napasorn as Ainam

Oh is mainly bullied by Copper, In and their gang of bullies. However, even though he hates the school there is only one person who motivates him to come back every day and that is Peach, the school's prettiest and kindest girl. Sadly, Peach is dating Copper.
Sun is the new kid at school. Due to unlucky circumstances he becomes friends with Oh. With Sun being friends with the school's loser he is often picked on by Copper and In. But something about Sun makes In feel different.

Can the biggest school's nerd end up dating the popular girl? Can a bully fall for the new kid?

My Thoughts:

I kinda forgot why I started this drama but I am glad I started it. By the way, I place the BL tag just to be safe but this series does not focus on the BL couple. And so yeah....,  in case people get shocked when they decide to watch this series or something. But still, I really liked this drama's plot in a way because it is kinda attracting.

The characters are high school students so do expect to see some pretty cute innocent moments by them which I pretty love since it just throws me back to my high school days as well. The way the male lead fell for the female lead was one of those moments I would say. Another thing to note is that this drama likes the love triangle thing. It happened for both the main couple and the BL couple. In which I'm not sure I love or hate it because in the main, it made the male lead worked hard to gain the girl's attention because the other guy is not being that nice etc. But on the BL couple side, it made them feel heartbreak and confusion which I don't really like.

So about the love development of the two couples, Hmm..... On the main couple side, his crush for the girl made him determined to change himself to be strong and not always be bullied which I would say cliche and also, Go You! But, at very least, he is still the same him inside which is what the girl likes. I have nothing much to say about the main couple's development since it's predictable and saying more would just completely spoil everything.

But, on the BL couple, now I'm talking. I focused more on this side towards the end as the development was cute. The bully and the bullied became friends somehow and ended up the bully likes a girl but that girl likes the bullied. As time goes on, this trio continued to get closer especially the two guys. But, A=Bullied, starts liking B=Bully, and B feels confused and caused A to get heartbroken. And then one character played the Cupid and I'm like, that person is so cool. And somehow, A and B reconciled through various circumstances.

I don't really know what to say but that this story was overall cute but unsatisfying. I wanted more of the BL couple because their story was vaguely ended. The main couple was innocently cute at the end and I'm fine with their progress hahaha... But one tip for those who watching and wanted more of them, they appeared as a guest role in a spin-off series, My Dear Loser: Happily Ever After and dear, I was happy to see them again hehehe.... And so, this series rocks at portraying the innocent teenagers at the edge of Seventeen, what they go through in this confusing times and finding themselves. Have a try at watching this! Other reviews also mention that this series is promisingly good!!

Bas Suradej as Wayo
God Itthipat as Phana

So, Wayo began to visit friends of Phana, Beam and Kit; it is the latter who suddenly falls in love with Ming, Wayo's best friend, who begins to court him despite his initial waste.

My Thoughts (Review):

My goodness, finally I felt like giving a review to this super awesome drama. Another awesome series that is adapted from a book. This was one of those dramas where I hated watching it right from the get-go, not because it's bad but because it was so damn good that it was hell waiting for a new episode to come out. Seriously I still remember those days I was so excited at the release of a new subbed episode, subbed is important of course! Especially since this was a project by P' Delightful who brought an awesome subbing team to further enliven the atmosphere of this story.

Warnings first hand, this drama is not for those faint of heart. Seriously! The actors' chemistry and lines were so over the top that it's crazy. I cringe a lot at the sweetness hahaha.... The story despite being a normal story felt like a fantasy with all the unreal lines and unreal situations. But all in all, I felt the chemistry between each couple. Anyways, each couple were pretty cute especially those moments when the actor gives indirect signal that they're jealous or just really like the other.

This season focuses more on developing WayoXPhana ship which I don't mind at all since I loved them so much. It started off pretty rocky since Wayo is still disappointed at Phana for his past deeds and Phana not even recognizing Wayo and I'm there like dude, he just is not wearing glasses anymore and you don't even recognize him. So, they had a bit of bullying and teasing early on. But the moment Phana recognizes Wayo, the game was on. He immediately change his ways and began going after Wayo and hitting on him. And I find that pretty adorable especially when they showed flashbacks of him, OMG that was beyond adorable already. The other ship that was pretty obvious without telling was the MingXKit ship. This was a pretty interesting one since both were straight when the story began.until Ming started suddenly liking Kit and going after him every chance he got, trying everything to get Kit's attention which he certainly was able to. At the end, their relationship was finally budding. And I kinda enjoyed watching them.

This drama was a romance true and true. Non-stop romance scenes at that. It never stopped picking up its pace until the end. If you want a drama that focuses on romance a lot, then this drama is the one. Like so many, Goals Goals Goals kind of thing here. I saw that there is going to be two more seasons and I can't wait for it! I truly enjoyed this drama and hopefully it continues its momentum until the final season. If you have not given this a try, do give it a try, am sure it would be a great ride. Happy Drama-Watching!

Karakade was a very mean and selfish person. Everyone hated her, especially her betrothed Date, who liked another girl but his dad and Karakade's dad were best friends and they promised that their kids would marry each other. Karakade tries to kill her rival but her rival's servant dies instead. Date and his dad chant a spell in order to punish the culprit, which results in Karakade's death.

After Kadesurang wakes up in Karakade's body, everyone around her is confused now that she's acting like a completely different person. But her optimistic and playful personality slowly wins over everyone, including Date, who falls in love with the new Karakade.

(Review) My Thoughts:

My goodness, I can't believe that the first time I saw a clip of this drama, I immediately overlooked it. Did not even try out an episode. Luckily, I came across a clip of it recently and through a misunderstanding (I thought it was a mix of past and present) from watching a crossover MV of it, I decided to watch the first episode. And, that was one of the best decision I have made in my life because it got me into watching one of the top dramas in my life ever. Another thing that supported my decision was one review where "if you never watch Thai Boran (Period Drama) or Thai lakorn, then this is the one to watch." Those words alone solidify my decision. And I assure you, no lies were spoken there. It truly was an amazing drama.

The drama was peculiar and unique among its peers. I tend to shy away from Thai Boran but this was too much better than I expected. It started off to bringing over this modern archaeologist student into the past. And I can't say anything but amazing to think of such a plot like bringing a modern lady into the past especially since she studies history because this drama was in a sense, a recount of history. I never thought there was a way to make history so much interesting like putting it into a drama. Coming to the end of the drama, I felt intrigued by everything, knowing that everything I saw mostly truly happened in the past. And, I felt I have a grasp of a part of Thailand's history in my head. I learned better than all those years learning history in class!

Kadesurang/Karakade as she is in Karakade's body was a bright addition to the recount of history as she guides the viewers to historical places in the area all the way to naming important figures and their feats. Her excitement and constant curiosity, there was no better teacher than her. This made her constant questioning understandable and made all the information felt natural and flow smoothly to the viewers. I didn't felt at all forced to listen to all this history and I find myself unable to skip even a minute of the drama as everything felt important to listen to. But, as always, knowing too much became a burden to her, there are times when she felt conflicted over her knowledge of all the events and being questioned on how she knows somethings despite the body she lives in never treading outside the house before she resided in the body.

The chemistry between the leads were just impeccable and beautiful until my eyes can't bear to look at them further. At first, I do have issue as to how Por Date fell in love with Mae Karakade as it was not clear at least to me about that, but all is forgotten when I saw their interactions and love for each other. It was endearing how much he cared for her and yet her inquisitive nature tend to get her into trouble and him being worried on how she doesn't act with limits. As the story goes on, I just fall in love over and over again with this couple. They just suit each other so much, Por Date being jealous and possessive over Mae Karakade was just too cute hahaha....I just don't know how to describe their love other than being divinely beautiful, which suits them as their love went past time and the heavens.

Other than that, the drama itself lacks all the criterias that makes other dramas too cliche, too much exaggerated, too annoying like evil villains and long-drag-out misunderstandings. And this shows how great this drama is in fact. As the writers were confident in that without all those, it will still be a good drama to watch and it was and it is. Besides, in this drama, the leads were not the only star of the show. The supporting characters were all important as well and have a strong presence. I won't remember just the leads when I think about this drama but also those supporting characters who enliven the drama and makes the drama noisy and cheerful. This is what I would call an excellent use of all the resources. Without them, this drama wouldn't have work this perfectly. I salute the writers for coming up with this army of supporting characters.

I have so much to say but too little space to type. This drama seriously is one of the best I have ever seen. The character development and role of each character was written so perfectly and also that it strives to be as close to historical records is just beyond amazing. I can't really think of a flaw for this drama. The fact that they were able to think of a plot which culminates the retelling of history is just genius. Also, I finished this drama in a marathon because every episode was just too exciting and fun to watch. I can't count how many times I giggled and laugh over this drama. So, if you have not watch this drama yet, go on quickly and watch it. You'll be sure to be happy to watch this drama!

They both got jealous with each other while seeing with other people. Love triangle with 4 people starts to become complicated at the aquarium. Will Methakawin accept her as a tomboy and fall in love with her?

(Review) My Thoughts:

I was looking for a new Thai lakorn to watch and the fan-made video of the lead pairing in this drama seemed pretty nice and slightly too photogenic for my eyes so I have to take a look. It started off pretty simple with both leads diving in the first episode but in the first episode I have a bit of an awkward state looking at the girl-girl relationship at the start which seems weird for me. I guess I'm just not used to it. But that was just for the background of the character and so the drama started.

I read another review and I agreed with what the person said while I looked back at the whole drama series. This drama certainly had a different take on the undercover girl thing. The girl acts like a man but everyone pretty much knows she's a girl but that she was into girls. So, there you have it, a tomboy who everyone knows is a girl. But, after a certain heartbreak, she decides to become a 'girl' instead but then everyone pretty much pegged her for being into girls so she goes through lots of misunderstandings to go for the guy she likes. Normal girl and girl interactions looks like flirting when it's her so most troubles started like that for her that sometimes I pity her. She was just being sisters with other girls.... And then there was the male lead who has a score to settle with her, whom did I mention, was the one who created those troubles for her.

One thing to note about this drama is that it's set up in a zoo, I mean most things take place in a zoo. So, for animal lovers or frequent zoo-goers, there is a lot of zoo action here, I mean there are lots of animal being displayed in this drama. Tigers being fed, dolphins being trained and many more. The romance and drama is one thing to look forward to but seeing so many animals here is a feast for the eyes especially they are showing as much of the zoo-keepers job as they could.

The love triangle with 4 people is certainly something to watch. I enjoyed how everyone is seemingly entangled with each other. With the female lead being misunderstood as a bisexual after deciding to be straight, it certainly leads to many funny situations. The love triangle really moves in many different ways. When the female lead and another female suddenly is in an awkward situation, the male lead then gets angry (jealous). When the female lead is with another guy, the male lead also gets angry (jealous). It is like the male lead never has a peaceful day. By the way, I truly ship the two leads together once she lets her hair grow. They look so beautiful in their scenes together. I really patiently waited for their ship to start sailing despite some troubles along the way because of other misunderstandings. Seriously this drama is full of misunderstandings! But, still everyone's character is just too cute. On the other side, I was a bit disappointed with the SeanXPimmy pairing, I thought that Pimmy would make Sean realize that all work and no play makes him a dull boy. But, in the end, they both became the seriously into work couple which I didn't expect at all.

So, I finished this drama in a marathon to see my pairing's ship sailing. It was a beautifully written drama. The emotions were all over the place and made the drama vibrant with colours. The anguish over the separation and sexual tension when together is well portrayed and I absolutely love it. Do check it out!

My First Love (Korean Drama)

Other Names: Longing Heart
Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Comedy
Episodes: 10

Main Cast:
Lee Jung-Shin as Kang Shin Woo (28 years old)
Seo Ji-Hoon as Kang Shin Woo (18 years old)
Lee Yeol-Eum as Han Ji Soo (28 & 18 years old)

Synopsis:

Kang Shin-Woo is a math teacher with a good looking appearance. He has not forgotten his first love Han Ji-Soo for the past 10 years. By an accident, he travels to the past when he was a high school student. There, he meets his younger self. Kang Shin-Woo struggles to make the younger Kang Shin-Woo's love come true.

(Review) My Thoughts:

Let's just say I am quite a fan of Seo Ji Hoon which is why I started this drama because he was excellent in his other works or pose quite the presence. But, the drama really interacted with my senses where I am interested in any minute details the drama has. I did not have any doubts over how great this drama was since the very start. And so, let's get this review started.

The first few episodes were very intriguing and cute to watch at the same time. I really questioned every single mystery the story posed. Heck, I even did a video about the first two episodes. It was to that point of me really wanting to know everything that's going to happen or had happen since the start was the characters in the present day. There were so many clues as to what had happen. Anyways, this was a cliche time-travel drama to erase the regrets of the past. I expected as much but seriously the romantic moments were just so beautiful and cute. And, it truly defines destiny in its fullest form. No matter what happen, or how things change, if you're meant to be together, you will be together.

As I said, I was a fan of Seo Ji Hoon, so the moment the story went to the past or had flashbacks of the past, I was so happy to see him. Hehehe....  He has just so much presence when he acts that I really love his acting. This story was on how Kang Shin Woo tries to fix what he did wrong or did not do in the past. And the first few episodes, I truly got mad at the older Kang Shin Woo and felt super pity for young Shin Woo (or Seo Ji Hoon). I felt like my feelings as a fan fanned the flames of anger.
I'm like, you're supposed to help out your younger self since you know everything that happens in the past. I know nothing ever goes right at first when someone time travels in a drama but the older Shin Woo truly made things worse to the point, I wonder whether he is there to repair or to destroy. He maddens me a lot.

One point to note here if you have not watched the drama, he is an excellent math teacher in the drama but he can't even figure out that the reason his phone does not receive signal is that his phone number was not registered in the network of those days. He even doesn't realize his card was never supposed to work. He knows everything that happens in the past and yet somehow sometimes he doesn't know. There were a few holes in the plot that seemed pretty weird to be honest. You'll see when you watch it but it did not affect the drama much, it just annoys me or puzzles me at times.

I came into the drama thinking that I was for sure able to predict where the story can go. And watching the OST video, I thought I knew better. But, seriously, I can't at all predict completely how things will go. I thought it would be this way, but the story goes another way. And that's what I really like about this drama as I watch it to the end, how I never always know what's going to happen. Enabling me to wait excitedly over how things will unfold. Enabling me to hope on how things will unfold. It is again amazing when I look back at how the editors of the drama gives glimpses of scenes that happened at the past and then lengthens the scene as each episodes pass and us viewers getting to know more as much is revealed with just a few more seconds of the scene is given. There were just too many twists and turns in the drama. I just can't keep up with each of them and absolutely loved each of them. I do dislike how some things were unchanged to the end of the drama but I saw in the end that they were left unchanged for a good solid reason. One thing I can see here which is super beautiful is how a person can fall in love over and over again with the same person. And even more, how destiny ties them together no matter how wrong things get. The last episode of this drama was beauty at its best. I'm telling you I was more than satisfied at how it ends and how they left nothing behind. In that, my questions were all answered and nothing was not known. It was a perfectly wonderful ending. I mean after all that struggle and pain and then they got together happily as they were always meant to be.

So, in conclusion, Seo Ji Hoon acts great and in great dramas. Hehehe.... I was worried for a bit when the story got to the present day but there was nothing to worry about as they still provided the past a chance. It is honestly a great watch. Simple but beautiful. Seriously a beautiful drama full of ups and downs. Always exciting, never a disappointment. Come and watch!!And then comment on how it made you feel because I felt so fluffy because of it!

I Am Not A Robot (Korean Drama)

Genre: Romantic Comedy, Sci-fi
Episodes: 32 (Half an hour each)

Main Cast:
Yoo Seung-Ho as Kim Min Kyu
Chae Soo-Bin as Jo Ji Ah / Aji 3
Uhm Ki-Joon as Hong Baek Kyun

Synopsis:
Min-Kyu is the largest shareholder of a finance company. He is handsome and intelligent, but he lives in seclusion due to his allergy of people. Meanwhile, Ji-Ah is an aspiring entrepreneur and works as a personal shopper. She receives a phone call from her ex-boyfriend Baek-Gyun. Her ex-boyfriend is a world renown developer of android robots. His latest creation is the android Aji 3, which he built with the same physical appearance as Ji-Ah, but an accident has broken Aji 3. Making matters worse, he has received an order for Aji 3 from Min-Kyu with the promise of more investment money if he's satisfied. Being in such a predicament, Baek-Gyun offers money to Ji-Ah if she will go to Min-Kyu's home and pretend to be Aji 3. Ji-Ah is in need of money and accepts the offer.

My Thoughts (Review):

As always I like to usually skip over a drama at the first glance before watching it at the second glance. This is another one of those dramas. I at first thought the male lead would be actually attracted to a robot and so I have no intention of watching a robot-human love story. Also, I had thoughts where Yoo Seung Ho seemed too old to play said character. I don't know why I thought of that but those were my primary reasons not to watch. But I came across an OST of the drama and and had to recheck the plot again and discovered that it is not what I thought. Besides, Yoo Seung Ho was actually younger than the age of said character. Thus, I decided to try watching it.

The premise of the story was interesting in that a human developed an allergy of human contact through skin. I still wondered how exactly that worked, I mean how the brain was wired to accept skin contact into an allergy reaction. Maybe the answer is there in my head but whatever. The character's life in the end became that of a seclusive loner, accepting his sickness and being able to adapt to situations where he has to meet people. Though I did wonder, why don't people question his instructions of having to stay away from him way before he announce his sickness? And so, by having this allergy, he lost the warmth of a human. And then, this robot came along who seem so lifelike and yet is not life itself. That bypass his allergy to skin contact (Again, if his allergy is initiated through skin contact, why didn't it realize Ji Ah was a human?) And so, I deduced that his allergy is only initiated if he himself believes body and mind that the opposing party is human and if not or he has doubts over the identity, his allergy won't act.

It is also interesting how there were many chances where Ji Ah gave away that she is human but him despite having an IQ of over 150, can't seem to notice and just believe the situational lie they put forth. One of the funny moments, was when he called Ji Ah as Aji 3 a genius for being able to solve a problem and she was like, 'Should I be happy at being called a genius when I just have an IQ of 94?' Kim Min Kyu is to my surprise actually a cute and lovable character. When he was on the brink of losing his one and only friend in a long time, he really worked hard to try to earn points to keep his friend back. He was so excited at just the aspect of Ji Ah as Aji 3 recognizing him when he had his rashes. You can really feel the joy he has in the company of Ji Ah. All smiles and grins. It is such a fun watching him. There are just so many sides of him that I can't not like.

And so, their relationship developed and it really pains me to see when they have to separate since they really depended on each other lots. Particularly Min Kyu, since he finally found a friend and then he has to let her go. At the final episodes, it was particularly worrying to see him go into shock at finding out he had been lied to all along. Once they resolved their troubles, I was extremely happy to see him all smiles again as they hug and kissed. They really had it tough especially how hard it was for Ji Ah to hide her identity despite all she wanted was to be with him. And then Min Kyu trying to revive Aji 3 by doing the same things over again but realizing his friend is gone. When they finally made up, it was like saying their struggles are over and they can finally be happy and be truthful.

All in all, this drama truly did serves its aim at being a romantic comedy because there were moments where it was just so funny in different ways. Against my prior judgement, this was actually a really good drama. The chemistry between Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin was evident. And their sparks just keep flying all about. I find myself really invested in their love story in the end. In short, if you haven't watch this drama yet, give it a try and comment on your thoughts of it down below!

Tomorrow With You (Korean Drama)

Genre: Romance, Comedy, Fantasy
Episodes: 16

Main Cast:
Lee Je-Hoon as Yoo So Joon
Shin Min-A as Song Ma Rin
Jo Han-Chul as Song Doo Sik
Kang Ki-Doong as Kang Ki Doong

Synopsis:
Is it possible to prevent a future of misery? Yoo So Joon (Lee Je Hoon) is the successful CEO of a real estate company who has the ability to time travel when he takes the subway. Going back and forth in time, he sees his future self living a life of torment and unhappiness. To try to offset his doomed future, he decides to marry Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah), a cheery photographer, even though he does not love her. Can Ma Rin help So Joon change his unhappy future?

My Thoughts (Review):

To be honest, at first glance, I didn't felt like watching it. I thought there's nothing particularly interesting about it. So, I put it aside for months and just recently I cam across it again and decided, Why not? And when I researched more of the drama, i was surprised to learn that it was Lee Je Hoon acting as the male lead and that pretty much was one of the reasons I decided to watch because he is a favourite since watching Signal. He was so good there that I kinda was hoping the same from him here and he does not disappoint.

On to the story, it is of course a cliche 'Knowing the future and trying to change it if something bad happens' kind of story  I was going along it, accepting it as that. But, it being a cliche just serves to improve the watching experience, thinking how the male lead can change the bleak future he has seen, and how he creates parallel worlds with his actions. Though there was no mention of the parallel world since this story focuses on one timeline, but it is evident in the story line. The story keeps on providing mysteries to be solved by the viewers and even if some questions were never answered till the end but surprisingly, even if unanswered, I still love the story and the plot.

About the cast, of course Lee Je Hoon played his best but I was more surprised at Shin Min Ah, I don't know where I got it, but I had felt that she somehow doesn't suit the role despite not even watching the drama yet. Like the story's gonna go bland because of her. BUT, watching the drama, she totally showed how the role is hers. How there's no one else who can perform Song Ma Rin like she did. And My God, the chemistry between these two was just too fiery. They hit it off immediately. Their characters are both so different and yet they managed to find a common ground and were able to act on it and fall in love. They were just too cute and full of love that it made me smile during those moments when they are trying to understand each other.

There's so much I want to say about them since it's mainly because of them that I got so invested into this drama, going on marathon to finish it because I can't help being curious about what's going to happen. There are times when I get so worried about them, worried that they're gonna get hurt or anything. Also times, when I just get so happy when they get those calm moments before the storm despite knowing they will in the end face the storm. I just am so shocked at how much I felt involved in this drama, how the characters felt like someone I know. It just goes to show how well they developed the character. That to me, is one of the strongest point of this drama.

Also, this story provided so many variables that it just keep on clouding my ability to somehow predict the story. Like, there was one time when the male lead found out he's suddenly married to the girl. I was wondering how the love story would develop to reach that point that fast. But, a different thing unfolded and I found myself fooled. It doesn't stop putting in different variables right to the end. Sometimes I felt like they can't fight destiny and then yet again, sometimes it feels like they could. As the time keeps ticking to the fateful day, it really feels like the best ability would be to pause time as the lead male mentioned.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at how well thought out this drama was and especially the awesome chemistry between Shin Min Ah and Lee Je Hoon. I was so happy to watch how their story developed when their destinies were never meant to intertwine in more ways than one, or were they always meant to be together? I may never know but what's for sure, they're in love and I'm in love with them. So, come on and don't miss this awesome drama!

With ghosts such as the playful spirit, Chaba constantly pestering her, and Dr. M who seems to know of her secret, can she ever have a peaceful life?

My Thoughts (Review):

First things first, let me state something about myself. I am afraid of ghosts and the like, I never watch the acclaimed horror movies but for some reason, I was pulled into watching this series despite knowing it is related to ghosts and comes from Thailand who is pretty great at their horror presentations. Also, it might be obvious but I picture a drama to follow what its synopsis is saying but only one or two sentences were correct. Therefore, I tweaked the synopsis and added the necessary information.

So, not even halfway through the first episode, I was greeted with a supernatural event and damn I was spooked especially since I was viewing it alone in my room. I covered one of my eyes to see through the whole episode. But then, I was able to manage and found the series to be pretty intriguing and has similarities to one of the Western Ghost-related series that I have watched before in the female lead's role in the story. But, I found that the first episode was to ensure that the viewer had the capability to continue into the story by upping the horror element. Since after that, I can manage other ghost encounters in the story.

On the cast, I enjoyed watching the leads of the drama but well, what else can I do since they're pretty much the only ones who are in the hospital. Every time a case occurs, it is always the same doctors and nurses who handle them. Others who came are like cameos. You don't really notice them there as their presence was just that weak. Even still, I still enjoyed the acting performance given by the leads.

By the way, there is a love triangle but it is not obvious enough to affect the story negatively in any way and I like it. My ship kept sailing all the way to the end and I love every moment of it. I am in love with the main leads. Their interactions were cute and casual and most importantly, pretty direct without even revealing their feelings. The male lead had a one-tracked mind and so did she, in the sense that they do not see others but the other. Their love story kept developing and never had a moment where it could have fallen. Their chemistry was just too good that I did not find any fault in their acting. I could rewind their scenes many times and never get bored. They are just fun to watch.

One of the things I don't quite like is the abundant use of product placements throughout the whole series to the point where I go, "Oh, here we go again. Another PPL... Hmm..." You cannot go an episode without two to three PPL scenes. Another thing, I don't like about it is how effective it is since it made me crave for what they are having. Hehehe..... There are even some scenes where the PPL was not that smooth that it seems odd to be having it suddenly there in the scene. Putting PPL is one thing but to make it so obvious is another one thing. Everytime, the PPL scene occured, they would either blur the surroundings or zoom to the item. It is like ads all the time. I am okay with PPL where it is not that obvious that they are promoting it, being that for a drink, they have it or something. Or a scene which perfectly suitable for it occurs. But well.... ANYWAYS, I am probably exaggerating it a bit here but surely I can say, the PPL only disturbs a few minutes of your time watching the story.

In conclusion, go ahead and watch this drama. It is simple, cliche and all of the above but still overall a great drama to watch. I am definitely excited for another drama from Pae after watching this series seeing how good he was in his role and most definitely, I loved this drama despite the kinda rushed ending because they are pretty cheesy that it is enough to win my heart. Come on and Let's Drama-Watching!!! Hehehe....

Hirunaka No Ryuusei [Daytime Shooting Star] (Japanese Movie)

Released Year And Length: 2017 (2 hours)

Main Cast:
Nagano Mei as Yosano Suzume
Miura Shohei as Shishio Satsuki
Shirahama Aran as Mamura Daiki
Yamamoto Maika as Nekota Yuyuka

Synopsis:

Yosano Suzume is a first grade high school student. She lived in the countryside, but, due to her parents transferring overseas for work, Suzume now lives in Tokyo with her uncle. Suzume has never had a boyfriend before, but she has feelings for her homeroom teacher Shishio Satsuki. Meanwhile, her classmate, Mamura Daiki, becomes attracted to Suzume.

My Thoughts:

I found this movie through Youtubers and decided it to be pretty interesting through the trailers of it that I saw. But, thanks to the trailers, I am forced to search for clips of its ending to see whether the ending which I desire will come true or not, if not, I will be broken hearted rooting for the person who is not meant to be with the girl.... And so, the ending was what I desired which meant I watched it! Of course hahaha...

So, there's nothing particularly special about this movie, it was just a simple love story with a little drama of teenagers experiencing love for the first time and reciprocating them. I think that this movie tops quite a few other movies I have watched in that, it does not go into a dark tone with the love triangles and everything happened in a sort of "kind" way. It was a smooth ride pretty much. Argh, it's hard to explain this movie when it's just that simple of a story. A little reveal goes a long way in spoiling the story.

Anyways, I adore the romance in here. It was really cute watching the awkward and fresh interactions of peoples beginning to be in love and dating. The actors and actresses really portrayed well the innocence of youths about love with the stiff and formal confessions. I initially wanted to watch this movie because the setting is in high school so I expected a lot of the youthful style of acting. And they conveyed it pretty well.

Go on and watch this simple slice of life, love story. Their cute romances will melt your heart and the ending is just so satisfying for my part. So, hope you all enjoy(ed) watching it!

(Review) My Thoughts:

This was the first Korean drama I watched after the big companies in Korea started making moves to salvage their profits so at first I was confused at the arrangement. Like was it 2 half episodes per week or 4 half episodes per week? I was completely blur until the weeks went by and I understood that it's still the same 2 full episodes per week with just a few tweaks... Anyways, of course this drama is awesome and still ongoing.

Lee Jong Suk is super awesome as always. I like the way he portrays his characters and how he brings them to life and not just plain boring characters. Suzy, to me, has improved by leaps and bounds compared to last I saw her. I mean, comparing her to when she was in Dream High, she is so much better. She seems much more natural in here and delivers her character with so much sass. Together, these two has such an amazing chemistry on-screeen. I absolutely love it and moreover, this story is not petty to include ridiculous love triangles to lengthen the story. To me, I feel that this shows a certain degree of confidence in the writers and concept maker, that they are able to engage the audience with a wide variety of cases that is winding the thread into an impactful plot which definitely requires an amount of episodes to unfold. I hate dramas where the plot gets heavy and I'm like turning to the couples for support and yet they have drama created by obnoxious exes. Here, their interactions are a breath of fresh air.

On to the story, this drama feels like it brings life to 2017 again after many dramas that looks not so interesting, the plot was cliche in the sense that using superpowers to prevent crisis. But, the writer who wrote this story was amazing because they were able to put forth so many variables in the story and also look at things in so many different angles that it makes me as a viewer really get my brain going to thinking mode on understanding the variables and the angles to better understand what the writer is trying to convey. The writer is even genius in the fact that she was able to use these known variables against us viewers, developing the variables into something much more powerful to keep us on edge, clueless as to what might occur after the development of the variable. The way she arrange her plots and hints is so deep that cliffhangers are so common. Cliffhangers here as in as a viewer, I seriously don't know how something shall unfold. And that's what makes this drama so great. You don't know what's going to happen and the build-up of excitement makes you desire for more.

All I can do at the moment while watching the drama, is gathering whatever clue I can see in the story to somehow predict what could the character decide on doing. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. Being wrong sometimes also is what again makes the writer so damn good. She is able to put the viewers off the track that they think is right by putting forth new substances. When the dots are connected, she could just put in a new path. She/They must have thought very far into this drama, thinking what else they could expose to engage the audience attention. There are so many cases and many are so unique in their own way. The research put forth into writing this drama is worthy of immense praise.

I won't really mention the actual plot and story, You should check it out yourself. All I'm doing here is to build up excitement for this drama which is sometimes bad for I am making you have high expectations for the drama but I believe that this drama has the confidence to not disappoint ever. If that's not enough, this drama also casted pretty interesting casts that made me felt nostalgic of past dramas and also made me sick to the stomach from laughter. Surely, they light up the drama even more and some are even scene-stealer hahaha...

This drama is just wow, wow, wow. I feel that it is on pretty much the same level as W~ Two Worlds that Jong Suk also starred in but this is from what I've seen less dark and much more mystery than W itself. Get ready to rack your brains on understanding the multitudes of variables and clues given by the writer. But also, prepare your heart for the cute romantic interactions of the couples hahaha and also the amazing wide variety of soundtracks for this drama. All are amazing and sound so perfect for the scenes they were placed in. I've been hearing them on a playlist for the past couple of days because they are just so intense, angelic, impactful and all the other descriptive words you can say. ANYWAYS, what are you waiting for if you have not heard of this drama yet? Go and watch the first episode, and get hooked on the ride until the final episode!! XD
